Wilderness Roots began as a family-owned forest retreat on 15 acres of peaceful woodland in the Appalachian Foothills. What started with a single fire ring and canvas tent has grown into a beloved destination for campers, hikers, and families seeking simplicity, silence, and stars.

We believe in low-impact travel, campfire stories, and creating space for the kind of stillness you only find in nature.
